Assistant Dean Marni Lennon Selected to Equal Justice Works National Advisory Committee

Assistant Dean of Public Interest & Pro Bono and Director of the HOPE Public Interest Resource Center, Marni Lennon, has been selected as a member of the Equal Justice Works National Advisory Committee (NAC) to represent the Gulf region. Her two-year term begins on July 1, 2022. Additionally, Lennon was named a recipient of the Janet Reno Access to Justice Award by the American Inns of Court in fall 2021.

Lennon founded HOPE and has worked and taught at Miami Law for 26 years. Dean Lennon teaches Alternative Dispute Resolution, ADR Design Systems, Mediation and Social Justice Lawyering, and is a Florida Supreme Court Certified Family Mediator. She has served in numerous leadership roles for the Student Services Section and the Pro Bono Section of the AALS. She is also the author, with Melvin Rubin, of Mediation, in 3 Florida Family Law 55-1 (Brenda M. Abrams ed. 2012) and The Vulnerable Client: Standing at the Crossroad of Compassion and Competence, with Jan Jacobowitz (MIE Legal Aid Journal, Summer 2018).

Lennon currently serves on the Board of Southern Legal Counsel and the Board of CETLAW.
