Associate Dean Beth Haas recently participated in the 2023 Annual National Legal Masters Conference at the University of Pennsylvania Carey School of Law. She served as a panelist in “Building the Profession: Program Faculty and Administrators,” and moderated the panel, “Faculty Perspective: The Art of Teaching Law to Non-Lawyers.”
Haas is a nationally recognized expert in online legal education. Before joining Miami Law in 2023, she served as Associate Dean, Graduate Studies and Online Education and Associate Professor of Law at Drexel University’s Kline School of Law in Philadelphia. In her role as Associate Dean, she developed, exclusively in-house, one of the largest and most rigorous online Master of Legal Studies programs in the country, along with eight online post-bac graduate certificates and three online LL.M. degrees.
Before joining Drexel Kline, Haas was a partner at Blank Rome, LLP, in Philadelphia, where she maintained a nationally recognized aviation litigation practice. She holds a J.D. from Villanova Law School — where she was an associate editor of the "Villanova Law Review" — and a B.A. in psychology from the University of Pennsylvania.
