The University of Miami School of Law is continuing its legal education innovation track record by partnering with BARBRI to offer automatic access to the company's bar review resources and preparation, so its students and graduates can efficiently and effectively prepare for the bar exam.
As part of the new program, BARBRI resources will include items available to students throughout their J.D. studies, such as a bar mastery series for each J.D. level, MPRE review materials, and various meaningful assessments for Multistate Bar Exam preparation and simulated bar readiness and bar review baseline assessments.
"We want every graduate to succeed on the bar exam the first time," said David Yellen, dean and M. Minnette Massey Professor of Law. "This partnership gives our students an edge in preparing for the bar exam. Most of our students already choose BARBRI; this partnership will provide a discount and add additional resources while preserving student choice."
The Post-Graduation "Miami Pass" Program
As part of the program, all J.D. graduates will automatically receive BARBRI's bar preparation course and other material post-graduation. BARBRI's bar review course will include all services featured in the premiere "Miami Pass" program based upon the features and benefits of BARBRI's Ultimate Pass course. Students who want to choose an alternate bar prep program may enroll in a different post-graduation bar preparation course and opt out, receiving credit for most of the fees paid into this program.
The University of Miami School of Law is committed to becoming a leader in student success on the bar exam. Along with other new initiatives, the partnership with BARBRI will ensure that every student has the tools to enter the profession successfully.
