Identical twins Nicole and Paige Comparato grew up in Boca Raton, Florida. Both attended the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill for undergraduate school—Paige majoring in public policy and Nicole in journalism, with both completing a second major in political science. They loved South Florida and always knew they would return, so upon graduation from UNC, they made the move back south to attend Miami Law.
While at Miami Law, Paige and Nicole were extremely active. Paige finished first in her class, and Nicole third—an incredible feat, especially with an anonymous grading system. Nicole was Editor-in-Chief of University of Miami Law Review, while Paige was Senior Notes & Comments Editor. Nicole was a Dean’s Fellow for Torts for Professor Bernard Oxman, and Paige was a Dean’s Fellow for Property with Professor Andres Sawicki as well as a research assistant for lecturer Jan Jacobowitz. They were co-chairs of Breakfast with the Bench and co-presidents of the Miami Law Chapter of the Florida Bar Young Lawyer’s Division, Law Student Division.
Currently, Paige works for King & Spalding and Nicole works for Weil, Gotshal & Manges, both in complex commercial litigation. Paige is currently serving as an elected governor for the Florida Bar Young Lawyer’s Division, as well as vice chair of the Florida Bar Federal Court Practice Committee, and Nicole also serves on multiple Florida Bar committees. Nicole is the current vice chair of Miami Law’s Young Alumni Committee, and both she and Paige are active board members of the Law Alumni Association. Nicole and Paige love the strong support system that Miami Law alumni have set up in the community and have enjoyed being part of it.
Outside their careers as lawyers, Paige and Nicole both enjoy taking full advantage of the South Florida lifestyle, spending weekends on the water, at the beach, or in the Florida Keys.
