Michele DeStefano, the Larry Hoffman Greenberg Traurig Business of Law Professor, was recently chosen as a winner in the 2024 Women, Influence and Power in Law Awards in the Law Firm Thought Leadership category. Sponsored by Corporate Counsel, the WIPL awards honor in-house and law firm women leaders and allies who have demonstrated a commitment to advancing the empowerment of women in law. These outstanding honorees, including DeStefano, will be recognized at an awards dinner on Sept. 24 in Chicago.

Recognized by the ABA as a Legal Rebel and by the Financial Times Innovative Lawyers (North America) as one of the top 20 most innovative lawyers, DeStefano is the founder of LawWithoutWalls, a multi-disciplinary, international, intergenerational think-tank of over 2,000 lawyers, business professionals, entrepreneurs, and law and business students who collaborate to hone new skillsets and mindsets and create innovations at the intersection of law, business, and technology.
