Tamar Ezer, faculty director of the Human Rights Program and associate director of the Human Rights Clinic, gave two lectures at the XXXVIIIth International Congress on Law and Mental Health, held at the Faculty of Law of the Universitat de Barcelona under the auspices of the International Academy of Law and Mental Health, Montreal. She did a joint presentation with Professor Bernard Perlmutter on “Socially Engaged Artistic and Legal Collaborations” and presented with Professor Lien Tran of DePaul University School of Design, College of Computing and Digital Media on “Trauma-Informed Responses to Gender-Based Violence.”
Ezer’s research focuses on the intersection of health and human rights, housing and homelessness, access to justice, women’s rights, children’s rights, and human rights pedagogy. Her articles have been published in various journals, including the Cardozo Law Review, Yale Human Rights and Development Journal, Harvard’s Health and Human Rights Journal, the Georgetown Journal of Gender and the Law, and the European Journal of Health Law.
