Miami Law's Homecoming Weekend kicked off Thursday evening with the Law Alumni Association's Welcome barbecue at the Alma Jennings Foundation Student Lounge and Hilarie Bass Bricks. This gathering celebrated all of Miami Law's alumni and affinity groups, with a special spotlight on all past presidents of both the Law Alumni Association and Student Bar Association.

Friday evening was filled with reunion receptions for the 1974, 1979, and 1999 classes, taking place throughout the Law School. Many attendees also participated in the lively Hurricane Howl, parade, pep rally, boat burning, and fireworks display on campus Friday night.

Saturday morning began bright and early with the 75th annual "Morning Spirits" and Homecoming Breakfast at the Lakeside Expo Center. This special event honored judiciary members, elected officials, and reunion classes, featuring inspiring remarks from Katie Meier, the retired head coach of the University of Miami women's basketball team.

Several distinguished alumni were recognized during the breakfast. Stephanie Carman, J.D. '01, a shareholder at GrayRobinson, received the Thomas Davison, III Memorial Service Award. The Honorable Corali Lopez-Castro, J.D. '90, U.S. Bankruptcy Judge in the Southern District of Florida, and Steven Sonberg, J.D. '72, chair emeritus at Holland & Knight, were honored with the Henry "Lat" Latimer Leadership and Professionalism Award.

3L Andy Co, Student Bar Association president, was presented with the Joseph H. Bogosian Student Leadership Award, while Kelly Malloy, J.D. '22, received the Young Alumni Committee Award.
