What aspects or opportunities at the law school had the most significant influence on your legal education and career trajectory?
The UM School of Law gave me many opportunities that enhanced my education and legal career. This includes learning leadership skills through the Student Bar Association. I also took advantage of the many legal networking events on/off campus that enhanced my professional career. Additionally, I was professor Thomas Wills' research assistant for two years, an experience that gave me confidence in my legal research and communication skills.
What is one lesson you learned in law school that you still apply today?
The significant importance of making and maintaining relationships.
What draws you to stay connected to the law school?
During my education and post-graduation, the UM School of Law has given me so many wonderful opportunities. I am thankful and grateful for these. It is my pleasure to share my experiences with students and young lawyers, so that they too can take advantage of all that the UM School of Law has to offer.
