MBS Launches the Corporate Associates Program

The University of Miami Business School has launched its new Corporate Associate's Program with 35 global and local businesses who have chosen to build long-term strategic and business relationships with the Miami Business School. A kick-off reception was held on Wednesday, March 21, at the Capital Grille in Brickell to honor these companies and their corporate leaders who are a part of this exciting initiative.
MBS Launches the Corporate Associates Program

The program recognizes many valuable contributions of our corporate partners in helping us attain new heights of excellence. The Corporate Associates Program is our way of saying thank you for their effort and support. Depending on the company’s chosen level of support, the Miami Business School provides benefits and resources that boost our corporate members.

“I felt very proud of seeing our company logo in the platinum category. I hope many companies join us. At the end, what UM is doing through this program is giving us the opportunity to help shape the talent of the students that will help us tomorrow to grow and strengthen our companies in Latin America,” said Mauricio Ortiz, President Latin America, Boston Scientific.

“As the nation’s leading provider of hospice services, VITAS Healthcare is proud of its six-year partnership with the UM Business School and proud to support the Corporate Associates Program, which allows VITAS to engage with the School and make an impact in the academic career of its students. We consider it important to invest in our future generation of business professionals who aim to bring innovation, passion and knowledge into their fields of choice and make their contribution to the business community—becoming a CAP sponsor enables their goals to be achievable,” said David Wester, President & CFO, VITAS Healthcare.

“We are excited by this initiative and look forward to making our appreciation event an annual gathering to recognize our growing list of corporate supporters,” said Rony Shir, Director of Corporate and Alumni Engagement for the Miami Business School.
