Originally from the Bronx, New York and currently in her third year at Miami Herbert, Vienna is a Finance major, with minors in Business Law and Political Science. She is also a Bermont/Carlin Scholar and serves as a Miami Herbert Business School Ambassador.

Last year as a sophomore, she completed a winter externship at Morgan Stanley where she shadowed a wealth management team.

“That experience exposed me to the area of wealth management in finance, which also allowed me to learn more about Morgan Stanley as a firm,” said Vienna. “It was also an excellent opportunity to connect with finance professionals outside of my network.”

When asked what advice she would give to other undergraduate students seeking competitive internship programs, she said, “Be committed, and study for the interview!”

“As you network and speak with professionals in the market you want to work in, you must also know your story why you want to be there. Speaking with people who do this every day positions you and gets you further along in the process.”

The prestigious Morgan Stanley Richard B. Fisher Scholarship Program is open to Black, Hispanic, Native American and LGBT+ students and offers summer internships opportunities with Morgan Stanley in the following divisions: Bank Resource Management, Fixed Income, Global Capital Markets, Institutional Equities, Investment Banking, Investment Management, Public Finance, Research, Srats & Modeling and Wealth Management.
