Experience business and culture on the French Riviera

Miami Herbert Business School has launched a new study abroad program, offering students a chance to broaden their global perspective and enhance their academic experience. Applications are now open for the four-week summer program, which will immerse participants in business and culture on the French Riviera.

Open to all University of Miami undergraduates, the program includes an organizational behavior course (MGT 304 or MGT 307) in Antibes, France, from May 19 to June 14.

Commonly referred to as the ‘French Silicon Valley,’ Antibes is close to the renowned technology and business park Sophia Antipolis. Antibes is also situated in a region that’s home to a number of prestigious multinational corporations, research institutions, and business startups.

Students headed to the French Riviera will engage in a collaborative business case study program that will have them working alongside French, or international, peers involved with the SKEMA Business School.

The study abroad program on the French Riviera will also include guest lectures on topics such as labor in France, employee happiness and satisfaction, and women in the workforce. Plus, three site visits to regional corporations have been arranged, with the aim of giving students practical insights and firsthand experience of the local business environment

From a cultural standpoint, the Miami Herbert students going to France will participate in workshops and daytrips to get exposure to local traditions and lifestyle.

Interested students should act fast as the applications are open until Feb. 1.
