The University of Miami Patti and Allan Herbert Business School has been named the No. 1 undergraduate entrepreneurship program in the South by The Princeton Review and Entrepreneur Magazine in their 2026 rankings. Nationally, Miami Herbert earned the No. 16 spot on the list of “Top 50 Undergraduate Schools for Entrepreneurship,” marking a continued rise in distinction for the school’s Management Department.

“We are thrilled to be recognized as the top program in the South,” said Linda Neider, professor and chair of the Department of Management. “This ranking reflects the strength of our curriculum, the dedication of our faculty, and the extraordinary drive of our students. Entrepreneurship is not only one of our most sought-after areas of study—it’s woven throughout the Miami Herbert experience from the moment students arrive.”

Miami Herbert’s undergraduate entrepreneurship program emphasizes experiential learning at every stage. Students build foundational skills in a required first-year course and continue developing their ideas through pitch and business plan competitions, industry speaker panels, and hands-on consulting opportunities. The program’s close ties to Miami’s dynamic entrepreneurial ecosystem also give students access to mentors, alumni, and community partners who help guide their ventures.

“These immersive experiences prepare our students to lead, innovate, and launch successful ventures in one of the most exciting business regions in the country,” Neider added.

The Princeton Review’s annual rankings assess schools based on academic offerings, experiential opportunities, mentorship networks, entrepreneurial achievements, and post-graduation outcomes. Full results are available at www.princetonreview.com/entrepreneur.
