Dr. Doris Ugarriza, Vice Dean and Professor, Senior Associate Dean for Academic Programs delivered the keynote address indicating this class represents some of the best educated nursing graduates from any program in the country, “I recognize your devotion to the furtherance of nursing and the degree of time, effort and personal sacrifice that went into your advanced programs. You will benefit greatly the primary healthcare of children, adults and older adults in our community, and to the education of those persons who care for our friends and neighbors.”
The awards for “Excellence in Academic and Clinical Performance” were presented to – Dadiline Dorce, in the FNP program; Brian Phillips in the Accelerated BSN program, and Karin Kimball in the RN-TO-BSN program.
