The University of Miami School of Nursing and Health Studies celebrates Tuesday’s announcement that UHealth – University of Miami Health System is Florida’s first health system to be honored with the prestigious Magnet with Distinction from the American Nurses Credentialing Center's (ANCC) Magnet with Distinction Recognition Program®.
It is no surprise that UHealth’s tremendous Magnet mission, led by Chief Nursing Officer Elizabeth L. Vieito-Smith, DNP, RN, resulted in UHealth being recognized for the absolute highest standards of nursing excellence, patient outcomes, and innovation.
