Two prestigious reaccreditations cement S.H.A.R.E.’s role as a global leader in simulation education.
Reaccredited through 2030

The University of Miami’s School of Nursing and Health Studies operates at the forefront of nursing professional development, shaping a legacy that will last for years to come. Central to this legacy is an unwavering commitment to excellence, which is validated by accreditations from leading organizations that set the gold standard for health care education worldwide.

The S.H.A.R.E. Simulation Hospital Advancing Research and Education® proudly announces its reaccreditation by two of the most respected authorities in the field:

  • The Society for Simulation in Healthcare (SSH) Council for Accreditation of Healthcare Simulation Programs (CAHSP)
  • The American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) Commission on Accreditation in Nursing Continuing Professional Development (COA-NCPD)

These accreditations are more than formal recognitions. They certify S.H.A.R.E. as a premier provider of simulation-based education and continuing nursing professional development. They verify the rigorous standards for quality, innovation, and learner-centered excellence our programs meet, ensuring that every student and health care professional educated at S.H.A.R.E. is equipped with the skills and confidence to deliver exceptional care.

This achievement would not be possible without the dedication and expertise of the Nurse Specialists, Simulation Technologists, and Administrative Team at S.H.A.R.E. Their tireless efforts guarantee that every detail, from scenario design to technical execution, meets the highest standards. This level of collaboration and commitment to excellence forms the backbone of S.H.A.R.E.’s success in advancing health care simulation.

Why This Matters:
Accreditation is a powerful statement on the quality of education provided at S.H.A.R.E. Being an accredited resource helps S.H.A.R.E. attract top-tier applicants, strengthen partnerships with other academic and professional institutions, and open doors to critical research and educational funding opportunities. Accreditation by these prestigious bodies cements S.H.A.R.E.’s position as a health care education leader and reaffirms its dedication to the school’s strategic pillars of Education for Life, Hemispheric Leadership, and Mission-Driven Research. Most importantly, successful reaccreditation efforts such as these reflect our promise to the community to advance health care education through cutting-edge simulation and lifelong learning.

Both the SSH and ANCC reaccreditations have been renewed through 2030, emphasizing the trust these established organizations place in S.H.A.R.E.’s vision and capabilities. “This achievement is a testament to the dedication and expertise of our faculty and staff,” said Dr. Frank Guido-Sanz, Associate Dean for Simulation Education and Research at the University of Miami School of Nursing and Health Studies and S.H.A.R.E. “It reinforces our mission to lead, innovate, and inspire in the field of health care education.”

As we celebrate this milestone, S.H.A.R.E. remains steadfast in its pursuit of excellence, continuing to shape the future of nursing and health care through transformative learning experiences.
