The most interesting place was Whistler in British Columbia, Canada. The Whistler is such a beautiful place with a vast mountain covered with snow.

The Secret Life of Walter Mitty, in this movie, the main actor “Walter” can go any place at any time just by his imagination, which got me vicarious satisfaction.

Going to the Gym and playing tennis with my beautiful wife Jenny are my favorite hobbies, which help manage the stress from my Ph.D. life.

What is special about the place you grew up? OR What is your favorite childhood memory?

I was born and raised in South Korea (Not North Korea). Our country has a state of the art public transportation and tasty traditional cuisines. People can sightsee both traditional town and modern city of Korea by public transportation. Also, as Korea is a peninsula and 70% of the land covered by scenic mountains, Korea is a great place for both hiking and water sports. Lastly, Korea has the world’s fastest internet connection speed.

What is something nobody would guess about you (that you are willing to disclose!)?

Christmas music is my favorite music. The funny thing is that I enjoy listening to Christmas songs even in summer.
