National Music Honors Society Pi Kappa Lambda Welcomes New Frost School of Music Members

Fourteen Frost School of Music honors students were inducted into the Beta Beta Chapter of the Pi Kappa Lambda National Honors Society during a reception held at the Weeks Music Library in April 2014.
Fourteen Frost School of Music students were inducted into the Beta Beta Chapter of the Pi Kappa Lambda National Honors Society at a private ceremony held in the Marta and Austin Weeks Music Library on the University of Miami campus in April 2014. The meeting was hosted by music librarian and chapter secretary/treasurer Nancy Zavac.

Pi Kappa Lambda is the national music honor society in the United States. Election to membership in Pi Kappa Lambda is based on superior attainment in music, combined with the "personal qualifications pertaining to an outstanding exponent of the art." Eligible students include the top 10% of the junior class, top 20% of graduating seniors, and Master’s and Doctoral students who will be awarded degrees in May.
