Frost Alumni Return as Special Guest Lecturers for Computational Acoustics Master Class
At Frost, we take pride in preparing students for their careers in the music industry.  This was evidenced when executives from Bose, graduates of the Music Engineering program returned as guest lecturers for a clinic in Computational Psychoacoustics (MM510), led by Dr. Christopher Bennett.

Mikaela Shannon (BS Music Engineering, 2017), Hunter Garcia (MS Music Engineering, 2018) and Connor McCullough (BS Music Engineering, 2014) DSP Engineers at Bose presented to the class on Feb. 14, 2019. And what an exciting experience it was to learn how Frost prepared them for their now burgeoning careers.

"The Music Engineering program at Frost set me up really well for my first role at Bose as I rotated through different projects throughout the company, stated Mikaela Shannon.  “The program offers a wide variety of classes, so I began my career with a breadth of knowledge."

Hunter Garcia further stated: "Lecturing at Frost was an enjoyable opportunity to revisit my days as a grad student, which I look back on fondly. The MuE program at Frost has excellent courses taught by some passionate professors. The program's diverse connections throughout the audio industry helped massively while I searched for internships and my current job at Bose."

Connor McCullough added: "It was an honor to share what I’ve learned since graduating with the next generation of students and hopefully get them thinking about how to apply their knowledge from school towards their goals."

"Bose represents the cutting edge of integrating technology in transducers and it is truly inspirational for our students to have guest lecturers who are graduates of our program," stated Dr. Christopher Bennett.
