The Music Industry Forum is an important annual event in China’s music industry, which includes the presentation of an annual report of Chinese music consumption. The total size of China's music industry last year exceeded 370 billion yuan ($53 billion at today's rates). Two alumni of the Music Business and Entertainment Industries program in the Frost School of Music, Lily (Yuan) Cao, and Hua Tong, who currently work in China, also attended the conference.
