The Frost School of Music at the University of Miami congratulates alumnus Nick D’Angiolillo (B.M. ’08, Music Business, Minor in Marketing) on being selected as one of the top 40 music industry-shaping executives included in Billboard Magazine’s 2nd Pride List.
Nick D'Angiollilo
Nick, 33 years old, is Vice President of nontraditional licensing for the major music company Concord. His job is to find opportunities “that may otherwise be overlooked” — from getting Isaac Hayes’ music on the Univoice language-learning app to a Denzel Curry concert streamed via MelodyVR.

“My time at Frost opened many doors in the music industry,” stated Nick on the impact of his Frost education. “Not only did I learn the necessary skills to jump right into a career and contribute in a meaningful way, but more importantly, I was taught how to learn. Being able to constantly evolve in this fast-paced world has allowed me to succeed, thrive, and look for unique opportunities for artists, songwriters, and everyone involved in bringing great music to the world.”

Preparing you for a successful career in music is just one of the many reasons students study at Frost School of Music, and why proud alumni boast to be #FrostBuilt!
