Bettina Mussumeli will be the guest teaching artist in The REALLY Big Class, an online worldwide masterclass series for violinists on Thursday, November 5, 2020, at 2 PM (ET).
Founder Cecily Ward states: “I am delighted to have Bettina Mussumeli as the guest teaching artist for a violin session on November 5, 2020 She will be hearing young violinists from Yale University, UC Santa Barbara, The Royal Northern College of Music (UK) and Wells Cathedral School (UK), playing the music of Sibelius, Bach, Bruch, and Barber.”
Cecily Ward is the former first violinist of the Cypress String Quartet. She founded this masterclass, being held during the Covid-19 lockdown, to provide inspiration, motivation, and community to violinists throughout the world. It features guest teaching artists from the UK, Germany, Canada, and the United States and over 75 student performers ranging in age from 11 – adult. The masterclass series takes place on zoom with a live-stream on YouTube.
