In consultation with student groups across UM campuses and as a result of the revised curfew in Coral Gables, we are extending Otto G. Richter Library hours in the evenings.
Starting Monday, September 28, the new hours for Richter Library are as follows:
- Monday – Thursday, 7:30 a.m. – 10:30 p.m.
- Friday, 7:30 a.m. – 8 p.m.
- Saturday, 10 a.m. – 6 p.m.
- Sunday, 12 – 8 p.m.

Appointment-based Study Update
After a review of usage rates and feedback from students, seats can now be booked in Richter Library up to one week in advance. The new daily maximum allotted time for reservations is eight hours. Study room reservations remain at a maximum of four hours per day, and study rooms may only be reserved one day in advance given the high demand for these spaces.
