The University Libraries are pleased to welcome Anna Dimoula as the scholarly communications librarian for performing arts and humanities, effective December 12, 2022. In this role, Anna builds services to support research output visibility and impact for Frost School of Music and humanities faculty. She promotes and advances the Libraries’ research information hub, Scholarship@Miami, as the place to host creative works and other research and creative output for faculty and students. Anna also serves as a resource for questions regarding authors’ rights, Creative Commons licensing, copyright and fair use, and oversees the Libraries’ digital publishing services. She has expertise in the scholarly publishing environment, as well as the scholarly work and materials needed to support research and learning for students and faculty, especially in the field of arts.

Anna holds a master’s degree in piano performance from Bowling Green State University in Ohio, U.S.A., and previously obtained a diploma in piano from Nakas Conservatory and a degree in harmony from the Ionian Conservatory, both in Greece. She completed her Master of Arts in Librarianship at the University of Sheffield, United Kingdom, and she earned her bachelor's degree in archival and library sciences from the Ionian University in Corfu, Greece.
