MHRT Summer 2021 Cohort Applications Now Open
Applications for the Summer 2021 cohort of the Minority Health and Health Disparities Research Training (MHRT) program are open from September 1 through November 30, 2020. In preparation for the 2021 cohort, the MHRT advisory committee and program faculty mentors met via Zoom on August 21 to discuss logistics, new research subjects, and other details for the 2021 cohort of the MHRT program, which is supported by an NIH-funded Minority Health and Health Disparities grant. Convening the online meeting were faculty from the University of Miami and foreign partner research sites in Dominican Republic, Colombia, Jamaica, Mexico, Peru, and Costa Rica. The program is open to undergraduate, graduate, and Ph.D. students as well as postdoctoral fellows from all U.S. institutions.
