Led by Dr. Signorile and Dr. Eltoukhy, a group of researchers at the University of Miami's Laboratory of Clinical and Applied Physiology are using a Xbox Kinect to provide valuable and ground breaking quantitative data to clinicians and patients alike.

In what would normally need machines that cost hundreds of thousands of dollars, Dr. Signorlie and has team have found a way to provide clinicians with powerful quantitative metrics that allow them to see deeper into the possible problem a patient is having, while providing them with a more accurate diagnosis.
