Dr. Buenaño holds an Ed.D. from Nova Southeastern University and boasts over a decade of hands-on experience in various levels of the sport industry. Drawn to the University of Miami's Sport Administration program for its rich history, reputation for excellence, and the opportunity to collaborate with esteemed faculty members, Dr. Buenaño's academic work focuses on critical research areas such as leadership and career development, the effectiveness of experiential and community-based learning, and the unique challenges and experiences of students and student-athletes.
