She also holds a teaching certificate from the Israeli Ministry of Education and completed the Day School Leadership Training Institute (DSLTI) at the Davidson Graduate School of Education.

At the University of Miami, Mizrahi is developing strategic educational partnerships with local schools to strengthen field experiences and expand opportunities for collaboration, research, and professional development between the university and local schools.

With over two decades of experience in education, Mizrahi has served as a teacher, curriculum coordinator, principal, associate head of school, educational consultant, and program director across the United States, Latin America, and Israel, leading professional development initiatives and presenting at universities and conferences. She has created educational programs from the ground up in both Brazil and South Florida, advancing inclusive and research-based practices that support diverse learners.

Returning to her alma mater represents a full-circle moment for Mizrahi, whose professional philosophy aligns deeply with the University of Miami’s commitment to innovation, inclusion, and community partnership in education. Drawn by the School of Education and Human Development’s interdisciplinary and practice-based approach, she views UM as the ideal setting to continue advancing equitable, transformative research-informed teaching and meaningful collaboration between universities and schools.

Mizrahi is the founder of Thabatta SM Consulting, a firm that serves schools, families, and the collaborative divorce community. In this role, she works as a special needs consultant and certified collaboratively trained professional, as well as a Florida Supreme Court–trained mediator. She is a graduate of the Florida Collaborative Family Law Institute’s Leadership Academy (FCAP) and has presented nationally and internationally on the intersection of divorce, education, family systems, and neurodiversity. Mizrahi views her role as both educator and advocate, one that extends beyond the classroom into the community. Fluent in English, Portuguese, Hebrew, and Spanish, she brings a global and inclusive perspective to every space she enters, fostering connection, learning, and advocacy across disciplines and communities.
