Dr. Sinnott completed his Ph.D. in Rehabilitation Science at the University of Pittsburgh and has over a decade of clinical research experience on concussion recovery. His research emphasizes neurocognitive and somatosensory function in post-concussion recovery and improving return-to-play protocols. Before Miami, he was a postdoctoral associate at UNC Chapel Hill, working on a multisite study of head impact biomechanics. A first-generation college graduate, Dr. Sinnott is enthusiastic about mentoring students who share his background and dedication to self-improvement through academia.
