The 2022 Forbes list of Best Employers for Women ranks the University of Miami as one of the best. Determined by an independent survey, the recognition positions the University among the top employers in Florida.
“This acknowledgment truly reflects the culture of belonging that we continue to embody,” said Karen Stimmell, interim chief human resources officer. “We are honored to be named one of the best workplaces for women and recognize that this achievement could not be possible without our faculty and staff members who continue to advance our mission, making the University of Miami a great place to work.”
In partnership with market research company Statista, Inc., Forbes list of Best Employers for Women 2022 were selected based on an independent survey of 50,000 employees currently employed at companies with at least 1,000 workers in their U.S. operations. Participation in the survey was voluntary, and respondents were recruited from thousands of sources to maximize reach and representation.
Last year, the University of Miami and the University of Miami Health System also received accolades from Forbes as America’s Best-In-State Employers.
