Nice to meet you. We’re glad you stopped by.

Life@TheU is a resource-packed website dedicated to anyone and everyone who works at the University of Miami. Each day we’re sharing the latest news, alerts, announcements, tools, tips, and trending topics to help you power through your day and make the most of your week. If you’re looking to learn more about employee perks, benefits and discount programs, policy updates, leadership initiatives, and general happenings in and around the U, Life@TheU has got you covered.

Life@TheU Is All About One U

We get it. Life and work at the University of Miami looks very different depending on where you’re standing (or sitting). From offices to research labs and classrooms, operating rooms to shark infested waters, supercomputer stations to engineering studios, there’s no telling what each day has in store. In fact, UM does so much, in so many different locations, that it can be hard to digest it all.

Despite our different roles, locations, and tenures, employees at the U are working together at each of our three campuses and numerous satellite offices to make a positive impact on the world around us. There’s no way to know exactly what will happen next at the U. But when it happens, Life@TheU is here to keep you in the know. We’ll also make sure we keep in touch regularly by including employee-themed content in the daily news email, News@TheU.

Let's Keep in Touch

Are we missing something? While we’re working to bring you the latest and greatest from every corner of the U, we also want to hear from you. Let us know about your fellow ’Canes who go above and beyond, topics that are important to you, and the information that you need to live your best life as a ’Cane.

How to Keep in Touch
