Experience a New Workday

Workday received a few major updates on September 8. We’re breaking down the changes and highlighting the features you’ll find in both the new user interface and mobile app.

Take Workday with you wherever you go with 24/7 access. Download the app, which is available in the Apple App Store (iOS) and Google Play Store (Android). Check out a handy tip sheet with details on how to download and configure the Workday app.

With the mobile app, all employees can now:

  • Update personal information, such as emergency contacts, address, and phone numbers, and change your profile image using the camera on your device.
  • Access important documents, such as payslips, W-2 forms, and information about beneficiaries and dependents.
  • Search for open job positions and refer candidates.
  • Upload receipts by using the camera on your mobile device and attach to an expense report.
  • Request/correct time off and view balances.
  • Use the app to record check-in/out time (applicable to non-exempt employees).

Additionally, managers may use the app to:

  • View information about their team, including an organization chart.
  • Manage timekeeping information for their team, including correction and approval of requests for time off and leave of absence.
  • Search for candidates and view details about candidates, jobs, and prospects.
  • Create, edit, and approve expense reports.
  • Approve direct report’s expense reports, job titles, and photo change.
