Concept to commercialization: The ABCs of VCs

Make strategic connections and gain insights about taking your ideas to the marketplace as Jeff Camp discusses the current state of the venture capital markets from the perspective of the entrepreneur. His talk will focus on what new startups should consider when searching for, pitching, and closing a deal with a venture capital firm; the role of each of the principals in the transaction; and how entrepreneurs can improve their chances of a successful financing with a VC that fits with their company. DILS International Multicultural Night
Friday, March 1 at 6 p.m.
Every year the College of Arts and Sciences’ Directed Independent Language Study (DILS) program—which offers students the opportunity to acquire communicative competence in languages that are not taught in the standard curriculum—invites the public to experience the cultures of the languages studied.
