State of UHealth and the Miller School of Medicine event set for June 12

Faculty and staff are invited to attend an address by Dr. Edward Abraham, executive vice president for health affairs and CEO of UHealth, and Dr. Henri Ford, dean and chief academic officer of the Miller School of Medicine, on June 12 at 5 p.m.

One of the transformative initiatives outlined in the Roadmap to Our New Century is to lead the transformation of health care. To achieve that vision and reach our potential, UHealth and the Miller School have established a strategic plan, the Five to Thrive initiative, and visionary goals for medical education and research.

Faculty and staff are invited to join Dr. Edward Abraham, executive vice president for health affairs and CEO, of UHealth, and Dr. Henri Ford, dean and chief academic officer of the Miller School of Medicine, at an address on June 12 that will touch on the progress of these plans. The event will be held at the Gordon Center on the medical campus at 5 p.m. with a reception to follow.
