UM faculty, staff, and students can purchase a parking permit for the Coral Gables Campus online. Gables One Tower employees will receive a separate communication regarding permit applications soon.
Faculty and Staff
The open enrollment period for all faculty and staff begins Monday June 24 at 12:01 a.m. (Sunday night). Permit sales are open to existing and new permit holders, including those on the 2018-19 waitlist. All faculty and staff are expected to receive their first choice as long as they make their selection during the two week open enrollment period. Learn more.
Students
Current and new students can purchase parking permits in July as follows:
- Resident students - Monday, July 1, at 12:01 a.m. (Sunday night)
- Returning commuter students - Monday, July 8, at 12:01 a.m. (Sunday night)
- New commuter students - Monday, July 15, at 12:01 a.m. (Sunday night)

Worth noting
There will be a charge for faculty, staff, and students purchasing the 'Nights and Weekends' permit for the 2019-2020 academic year. View a list of permit prices for students, faculty, and staff.
Parking permits are virtual and are linked to the vehicle's tag number of your vehicle. You may enter more than one tag should you have multiple vehicles in your household but only one registered vehicle can be parked on campus at a time.
As per the 'No Back-In' policy, vehicles must be parked head-in only unless they have a front plate. Learn more about this policy.
