University of Miami leadership and Human Resources invites faculty and staff to celebrate all that you do for the University during the final two employee football games this season. Cheer on the Miami Hurricanes as they take on the University of Virginia Cavaliers on Friday, Oct. 11 and the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets on Saturday, Oct. 19. Here’s what you need to know before you go.
Celebrate your service
Before the game, employees are encouraged to visit the Fan Zone in the South Plaza for photo opportunities with replica turnover chains, giveaways, and prizes. Those who are celebrating a service milestone this year will have an opportunity to pick-up a recognition pin, which commemorates your years of service at the U. Take the time to appreciate a colleague with a recognition note and celebrate all your efforts as we continue to successfully transform lives at the U!
Throughout the game, University leadership will recognize all faculty and staff in attendance. Be on the lookout for special thank you messages and on-field awards in between the excitement of the game.
Bag policy
