University leaders can take the next step in their career development by participating in the Essentials of Leadership (EOL) program. Since its inception in 2014, more than 700 University staff have successfully graduated from EOL, which is designed to advance a leader's development through interactive modules, leadership discussions, individual assessments, experiential learning activities, networking, and coaching. Take your career to the next level by learning essential skills, including change management, developing high-performing teams, and how to coach and delegate to deliver optimal results. Supervisors can submit applications on their team member’s behalf for the next series, which starts in January 2020. Learn more.

Holiday season is here
Check schedule for dates
With Halloween behind us, the holiday season is in full force and that means special closures or updated hours of operation for many spots off and on campus. Check the University’s 2019 holiday schedule to know which days will be observed at each campus and call ahead before planning a visit to specific locations such as the Lowe Art Museum, library, or Coral Gables campus dining facilities.

Parking color zones lifted at Coral Gables campus
During Thanksgiving and winter break
With the exception of the purple zone, parking zone color restrictions will be lifted for Thanksgiving break from Monday, Nov. 25, through Friday, Nov. 29, 2019, and during winter break from Wednesday, Dec. 4, through Friday, Jan. 10, 2020. A parking permit is still required to park on campus between the hours of 8 a.m. and 11 p.m. Additionally, the University shuttles will run on a limited service. Please note color restrictions will be enforced between Monday, Dec. 2 and Tuesday, Dec. 3. Color restrictions will be reinstated on Monday, Jan. 13, 2020 at the start of the spring semester.
