Attend the University of Miami travel fair

University of Miami faculty, staff, and students can attend the next travel fair to learn about discounts and benefits available to the University community through the University’s travel partners. Hosted by the Travel Management team, this event will offer participants networking opportunities along with giveaways and raffles. Register to attend the event on Tuesday, March 3, at the Coral Gables campus or on Wednesday, March 4, at the medical campus.

Plan an evening with family and friends at two upcoming Hurricanes' sporting events. Register your child—open to kindergarten through sixth grade—to participate in the fifth annual Junior Cheer program at the women’s basketball game on Sunday, March 1, against the University of Pittsburgh. Then head to Mark Light Field at Alex Rodriguez Park on Saturday, March 7, to watch the baseball team take on the Pittsburgh Panthers during the fifth annual capes and crowns event. Purchase $12 tickets—which include admission to the game, access to pregame character meet and greet, participation in the on-field parade, and a milkshake voucher—for children older than two. On Thursday, April 2, the University of Miami will host the second annual Giving Day. This 24-hour online and social media celebration will strengthen a sense of collective pride in the University, heighten philanthropic spirit, and increase community awareness. Here’s how University faculty and staff members can get involved—become a Giving Day Ask Volunteer. Volunteers interested in helping to fundraise and increase community engagement may identify five individuals from their family and friends to make a gift on April 2. Sign up before March 6 and you will be contacted.
