MyCareConnection—a virtual telehealth platform—is live and available to University of Miami employees and their family members at no charge. Access the platform 24/7, 365 days a year using your miami.edu email address and the code Cane2020 and click “apply” on the checkout screen.
Employees and their family members can schedule an appointment for a virtual visit—by phone or online—with board-certified doctors and nurse practitioners who can diagnose symptoms, and where clinically appropriate, recommend treatment and prescribe medication for non-emergency visits. Providers are also available to evaluate COVID-19 symptoms. Though you may experience longer than usual wait times, there is an option to request a call back.
