Health care professionals at the University of Miami Health System and Miller School of Medicine are on the front lines battling COVID-19. Frontline workers are putting themselves in the path of this virus—in Miami and around the globe—to protect all of us. Our doctors, nurses, technicians, pharmacists, transporters, and other staff members who support patient care are rising to the occasion for our most vulnerable populations.
Their dedication, commitment, and courage deserve our deepest gratitude and admiration. Here are a few ways you can express your appreciation for their extraordinary contributions.
Share your appreciation.
Visit the Words of Appreciation site and submit a note of gratitude. Messages featured on the website are updated daily and can be viewed by everyone within the University. Take a moment to thank someone specifically, or share a message for all members of our ’Canes family.
Get social.
Social media brings us all together in unique ways, especially during this time of physical isolation. Shoot a video that says “thank you” or take a photo displaying a prominent sign. Whatever you choose to do, share it to social media, and don’t forget the #Hearts4UHealth. Also, be sure to tag @UMiamiHealth, so our health care professionals and their families can see your post. Need some inspiration? Check out our highlights on Instagram.
Give back.
