Contribute to your mental health and well-being through meditation practice that promotes inner happiness offered virtually on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 1:30 p.m. by the UHealth Fitness and Wellness Center. The 15-minute guided sessions are led by Lunthita Duthely, an assistant research professor for UM’s Miller School of Medicine in the department of obstetrics and gynecology. Register to attend.

Join the Women’s Commission virtual book club.
Friday, June 19, at 12 p.m.
Open to the entire University community—including faculty, staff, and students regardless of gender or identities—the Women's Commission will kick off its summer virtual book club at noon on Friday, June 19, by discussing Anne Pachett's, “The Dutch House.” To participate, send an email to womenscommission@miami.edu. Connect and create with the Lowe.
Wednesday, July 15, at 2 p.m.
Offered by the Lowe Art Museum and Human Resource's Workplace Equity and Inclusion team, the Connect and Create program uses art as a medium for communication, encouraging diversity of thought and perspective. During the one-hour interactive session, participants are guided through a series of curated works of art and discussion. The sessions, which begin Wednesday, July 15, are open to all University faculty and staff members. Space is limited and participants must register in advance to attend. Tip sheets are now available within Workday. To access them, click the orange icon labeled “Need Help?” and either select the Tip Sheet category or start typing in the search field. If you don't see the icon within Workday, learn how to install the WalkMe plugin on your computer. Tip sheets and tutorials will be removed from the Workday informational website as of Aug. 31, 2020; however, they will continue to be accessible within Workday.
