UOnline offers high-quality degree and credit certificate programs that provide the skills needed to support students in achieving their goals. Attend an upcoming virtual information session to learn about some of the master’s degree programs available. Participants will receive a $300 deposit fee waiver and have the opportunity to connect with the enrollment team to learn about the simplified admissions process and the financial assistance and scholarship options available. Cultivating a contemplative practice through mindfulness.

Awaken your innate capacity for mindful living and cultivate a contemplative practice. Review the basic tenets of mindfulness, which increases engagement with the present and allows for a clearer understanding of how thoughts and emotions impact your health and the quality of your life. Register to attend a webinar on Tuesday, July 28, offered at noon and also at 6 p.m. by the University’s Faculty and Staff Assistance Program (FSAP). Connect and create with the Lowe.
Wednesday, Aug. 5, at 12 p.m.
Offered by the Lowe Art Museum and Human Resource's Workplace Equity and Inclusion team, the Connect and Create program uses art as a medium for communication and to encourage diversity of thought and perspective. During the one-hour interactive session, participants are guided through a series of curated works of art and discussion. The sessions are open to all University faculty and staff members. Space is limited and participants must register in advance to attend. Register for the session on Wednesday, Aug. 5 or Wednesday, Sept. 16. Monday through Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 11:50 a.m. by appointment only.
The Healthy ’Canes Employee Clinic—a UM Well ’Canes benefit available to full- and part-time benefits eligible faculty and staff members—provides convenient access to UHealth medical services for common illnesses and select immunizations. Make an appointment to visit the clinic for $5 per visit (fee is waived for immunizations). Coral Gables faculty and staff may be able to receive COVID-19 testing based on exposure history and symptoms. Call 305-243-8378 to be screened and possibly scheduled for an appointment for testing.
