Successfully navigate change with help from Human Resources

Since March 2020, HR’s Talent and Organizational Development team has held 19 professional development webinars and virtual conversations reaching close to 2,500 faculty and staff members. Sessions have included boosting productivity with music,  collaboration strategies for remote and hybrid teams, and virtual conversations with key University leaders. The latter included Dr. Henri R. Ford, dean of the Miller School of Medicine, sharing his thoughts about making a difference with compassion. Read more.

“These sessions are very popular with our faculty and staff because they are engaging, and have relevant content where knowledge can be applied right away,” said Greg Brenner, assistant vice president, Talent and Organizational Development. “For some employees, their work environment may have changed and staying connected can be challenging. These interactive sessions provide an excellent opportunity to connect with others across the University.”

The Talent and Organizational Development team has revamped its professional  offerings to address the most relevant topics for staff, faculty, and those in leadership roles during this critical time.
