Tuesday, Aug. 11, at 12 p.m. and Aug. 18, at 10 a.m.
Since 2013, the University of Miami and Big Brothers Big Sisters (BBBS) of Miami have partnered to match local high school students with faculty and staff mentors, or “bigs,” as part of the School-to-Work program. Hosted by Human Resource’s Office of Workplace Equity and Inclusion, the BBBS program launches each fall and is 100 percent worksite-based, requiring approximately four hours per month, during work hours. All experience levels and job functions are welcome to be part of the program, but participation is limited to full-time faculty and staff members. Register for an upcoming information session on Tuesday, Aug. 11 at 12 p.m. or Tuesday, Aug. 18 at 10 a.m. to learn more about the program.
