Get to know Microsoft Teams.
Thursday, Sept. 3, at 2 p.m.
As a member of the University community, students, faculty, and staff members have access to Microsoft Teams, a chat-centered workspace in Microsoft 365 that brings people, conversations, files, and tools into one place. Hosted by UMIT in collaboration with Microsoft, register to attend an online training session to learn the ins and outs of the platform. You can learn how to have seamless real-time collaboration, schedule small group or team meetings, post an email in a thread to keep everyone in the loop, search for public teams to collaborate on shared projects, and see past content and chat history anytime.

Snag a sweet ride during the UMPD bike sale.
Friday, Sept. 4
Hosted by the University of Miami Police Department on the first floor of the Pavia Garage at the Coral Gables Campus, the sale will offer gently used bikes for only $20—an affordable way to get around or a good way to get some exercise. University students will have exclusive access to the sale from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m., followed by the general University community from 12 p.m. to 3 p.m. Be prepared to present your ’Cane Card or a driver’s license upon arrival.
