The last day to review or make changes to your current benefits is Friday, Oct. 30. If you wish to elect a different health plan, add or drop a dependent, or enroll in a Flexible Spending Account (FSA), visit Workday to complete your Open Enrollment elections for your 2021 benefits. 

No action is required unless you wish to make changes or need to enroll in any benefit for 2021 that previously was not a part of your elections.  All selections will roll over, except your FSA. Remember, you must enroll or re-enroll to receive the FSA benefit for 2021.

Through Wednesday, benefits experts will host a series of  sessions regarding the available benefits plans through Aetna, how to access behavioral health services through Carisk, Cigna voluntary life insurance, and family support options through Bright Horizons. Review Cigna’s new voluntary life insurance benefits. 
Through Cigna, the University of Miami offers benefits-eligible employees the opportunity to purchase voluntary excess life insurance. An application can be submitted at any time throughout the year. During this open enrollment period, Cigna is providing guaranteed issue coverage for the lesser of three times your base salary or $1,000,000, without having to provide any medical documentation.
