In an effort to mitigate complications of the seasonal flu and COVID-19, flu shots are required for students, faculty, and staf. Available by appointment at multiple locations on and off campus, we’re sharing details on when and where you can receive your vaccine before the compliance deadlines.
Flu vaccinations received at alternative off-campus locations and requests for exemptions must be reported through Workday (faculty and staff) or the Student Health portal (students).

- Employee Health Office
To receive a flu vaccination from the Employee Health Office, faculty and staff are able to schedule appointments at the following places on the Medical and Coral Gables campuses. Visit the Employee Health Office website for a full listing of availability. - UHealth at Walgreens
Flu vaccinations are also available, by appointment only, at all UHealth Clinics at Walgreens locations. Schedule your appointment here. - Walgreens on the Coral Gables campus
Walgreens is also administering flu shots on the Coral Gables campus on a first-come, first-served basis. Appointments are not required.

Students | Where and when to schedule your on-campus appointment
Students on all campuses will be required to receive the seasonal flu vaccine. This includes all current non-remote students, current remote students who intend to be on campus in the spring semester, and currently non-enrolled students who intend to be on campus in the spring semester.
- Student Health Service
Flu shots are available at the Student Health Service by scheduling an appointment at mystudenthealth.miami.edu (for "Visit Reason" choose "Flu Shot"). The charge for your flu shot will be billed to your insurance company. Under the provisions of the Affordable Care Act, preventive services should be covered 100%, with no co-insurance or co-pay, regardless of whether you have met your deductible. You will not be billed for any balance.

Student Health will be providing flu shots at the mandatory COVID-19 testing site in Pavia Garage.
- Healthy U at the UC Rock
