The University community is invited to participate in Compliance Services' annual Compliance and Ethics Week interactive session on understanding the University’s sexual misconduct policy. Register to attend the online session facilitated by Maria Sevilla, deputy Title IX coordinator, about the importance of compliance and ethics by understanding what is sexual misconduct, and how to cultivate a culture of compliance by learning how to address sexual harassment. Ask the experts about the effects of climate change on health. 
Friday, Nov. 6, at 12:15 p.m.
According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, disruptions in the environment can impact our health in a number of ways. Join Carol Lindsey, a family nurse practitioner, member of the Florida Clinicians for Climate Action, and former active duty commissioned officer in the U.S. Public Health Service, as she discusses the effects of climate change on our health. Register now to attend this virtual session hosted by the UHealth Fitness and Wellness Center.

Attend elementary school day with the Hurricanes women’s basketball team.
Monday, Nov. 9, at 10 a.m.
All students from kindergarten through fifth grade are invited to attend a virtual field trip with the Miami Hurricanes women’s basketball team. Participants will learn about sportsmanship from the ’Canes and hear from coaches and special guests. Register now to attend.

Connect and create with the Lowe. 
Monday, Nov. 16, at 12 p.m. and Wednesday, Dec. 9, at 6 p.m.
Offered by the Lowe Art Museum and Human Resource's Workplace Equity and Inclusion team, the Connect and Create program uses art as a medium for communication and to encourage diversity of thought and perspective. During the one-hour interactive session, participants are guided through a series of curated works of art and discussion. The sessions are open to all University faculty and staff members. Space is limited and participants must register in advance to attend. Register for the session on Monday, Nov. 16, at 12 p.m. and Wednesday, Dec. 9, at 6 p.m..
