Offered by the Lowe Art Museum and Human Resource's Workplace Equity and Inclusion team, the Connect and Create program uses art as a medium for communication and to encourage diversity of thought and perspective. During the one-hour interactive session, participants are guided through a series of curated works of art and discussion. The sessions are open to all University faculty and staff members. Space is limited and participants must register in advance to attend. While the COVID-19 pandemic has brought new challenges to celebrating, there are ways to work creatively to capture and honor the true spirit of the season and enjoy this time. Register to attend a session at noon or 6 p.m. aimed at helping participants bring awareness to the types of stressors experienced during the holidays, and explore mindsets for relieving stress this year. Employees enrolled in UM’s Well ’Canes Incentives program can earn points by attending this session.
