Attend the ACE Women’s Network of Florida Coffee and Conversation..

As a member of the American Council on Education (ACE), the University community is invited to participate in virtual programming hosted by the ACE Women’s Network of Florida. The next event will discuss presidential transitions in higher education, focusing on institutional priorities featuring Christopher Roellke, president of Stetson University, and Wendy Libby, president emeritus of Stetson University. Join a community book discussion on race. 
Thursday, Jan. 28, at 12 p.m.
As part of this year’s One Book, One U initiative, the University community is invited to participate in a three-part interactive virtual discussion of “So You Want to Talk About Race,” by Ijeoma Oluo. Hosted by the University’s Women’s Commission in partnership with the UDialogue program, participants may register to attend one or more of the guided discussion series events scheduled for Jan. 28, Feb. 11, and Feb. 25. Each virtual meeting will cover a specific section of the book, and attendees will have the opportunity to discuss topics in small break-out sessions. Learn more about the Women’s Commission.

Take an introductory course in aromatherapy—eligible for continuing education credit.
Saturday, Jan. 30 and Sunday, Jan. 31.
Discover the science behind aromatherapy and how it may be used to support wellness. Learn how essential oils can boost the immune system and relieve stress. Offered by the Miller School of Medicine’s Osher Center for Integrative Medicine, the two-day, hands-on workshop will guide participants as they formulate their own products and learn the appropriate applications of foundational essential oils through evidence-based research.
