Participate in a conversation on gender and pronouns

Learn about the conversation.

Hosted by Human Resources’ Office of Workplace Equity and Inclusion, Claire Oueslati-Porter, interim director of the University of Miami Gender and Sexuality Studies Program and senior lecturer, will examine the importance of gender pronouns and how they are used to identify ourselves and others. During A Conversation on Gender and Pronouns, on Tuesday, June 29, at 12 p.m., participants will explore the significant role that gender pronouns play in creating an inclusive work environment, discuss tips on how to incorporate gender pronouns into everyday interactions, and find ways to expand vocabulary in relation to gender and diversity. Eligible faculty and staff members may receive up to 25 Well ’Canes points for attending this interactive session. Click here to register for the virtual event.
